Advent Calendar Door 22 | There are certain names in Netaudio you stumble upon quite regularly. Think of Daniel Maze, d'incise, .at/on, or Jason Corder aka offthesky. In 2008, Ian (D.) Hawgood was unavoidable. The UK-born musician lives in Tokyo but travells the US and Europe as well. A busy man. Still, his musical outlet is impressive- check his website koenmusic.com for a full dicography or look him up at phlow magazine. 2009 will see the launch of his own record labels NKR and Home Normal. Hopes are high, Ianster!

Hi Ian, you have of course forgotten at least three very good albums by yourself in this year. Have a nice holiday season!

thanks guys - i thought it was a very good year for net releases and much to my shame, i didn't add Acroplane to the labels - i seemed to go all minimal this year! Special thanks to artists, promoters (like Roland - top bloke!) and label moguls like Sven, Christian Roth, Jeremy Bible and more for making it such a bang on year. Ian.
