Advent Calendar Door 5 // Woooh! Gee!, 2008 was a hell of a year to make awesome discoveries from Japan to Chile, from Mexico to Italy. 2008 was the year for netlabelism and netaudio to break its shell to see some light. In Spain, Germany, Russia, Italy and of course England small and huge events took place.

Still the world of creative commons music is small, we are living in a niche. But during my talks to musicians, to radio broadcasters and people who listen to music, there was always one response: curiosity and enthusiastic reactions. So, one is for sure: free music is more and more becoming a true alternative to get attention, concerts and dj-gigs. So keep it up, and deliver me some more of those fantastic breaks, beats and grooves! Big shouts from Tokyo Underground, Brigitte.
